slip testing in
the South West.
South West testing is scheduled in regional clusters — the Bristol / Bath / Wiltshire / Gloucestershire belt is a near-weekly destination; Devon and Cornwall are typically clustered into two-day site visits. Coverage extends to the Channel Islands by arrangement.
Where we work in the South West.
Generic location pages are an SEO trick, not a service. The detail below reflects the venues, governing-body relationships and travel logistics that genuinely shape how we deliver in this region. Every survey carries the same UKAS Lab 7933 endorsement regardless of location.
Bristol & Bath
The University of Bath, Hartpury, UWE, Bristol and the Sport England-funded sports halls across the metropolitan area are core sites. The Bath Sports Training Village in particular operates at the high end of EN 14904 specification.
Devon & Cornwall
Plymouth, Exeter and Truro carry the regional weight; rural sites across the moors are typically scheduled in pairs to optimise travel. Exeter Chiefs and Plymouth Albion training facilities have rugby-specific testing requirements where indoor surfaces are involved.
Independent & military
Wellington, Sherborne, Marlborough and the wider HMC schools across Wiltshire and Dorset, plus the MoD estate around Salisbury Plain, contribute regular testing volume.
Travel
Bristol corridor sites are 90–150 minutes from Sunbury; Devon sites typically require an overnight stay. We schedule South West work to minimise travel cost passed through to the client.
A UKAS-endorsed report. Same scope, every region.
A site in the South West receives the same calibrated test, the same five-day report turnaround, and the same UKAS endorsement under Lab 7933 as a site in any other UK region. There is no “regional” version of the test. The endorsement is what makes it evidence; we don’t dilute it for distance.
